Beginner Pilates – 15 minutes

This is what i do when i have snoozed the alarm clock one too many times and i know i will get stuck in the morning rush-hour if i carry out a longer routine.

Other than her comments are a bit too much sometimes, the routine is great and quite challenging.

Wednesday snooze

I did snooze, i did find excuses to sleep in a little longer, but in the end, i was brave enough to face the September morning cold and to fight the numbness in my body. Yes, it is hard, but if it were easy, everybody would do it.

I guess i kinda wished today were Thursday and not Wednesday, and that is why i did the Thursday Workout ;) Actually, i was curious to see whether it will be easier this time, as last time the butt&thigh left me with pain… in one thigh. Worried that i might have not done the workout properly last time, this time i started with the other side.

I admit that during the 2 difficult moves, i took small breaks –  however, i would not have been able to complete the exercise otherwise. Hopefully, next time ( or the time after that) i will be able to go through it without feeling the need (or the tremor) to stop :)

And yes, this time, i can feel my buns. Yey.

Thursday Workout

Okay, so while continuing with the challenge of the morning workout, it gets more and more interesting as it gets colder and a bit darker every day at 6 a.m… but i am not backing down. After all, a healthy mind in a healthy body, right?

Here is my Thursday routine, with great videos from  FitnessBlender . Plenty to choose from, depending on the fitness level and ones preferences.

So here it is, Thursday, day 4:

Arms Workout

Butt and Thighs Workout

Abs Workout

Challenging excuses

Having forgot to separate the deciding from the doing –  as depicted in the great article from Raptitude –  i also seem to have forgotten to separate the deciding from everything else( the overthinking, the challenging the decision, the finding of excuses). So in the end, i did not continue with day 2 of the challenge, telling myself that i would do the challenge every other day.  After all, it was already 8:35 pm, i had no energy, i was hungry and i wanted to eat, and then be in bed by the 22:00 pm bed time… And i had worked out for 40 minutes in the morning, so that should count for something, right?

No. I am plain lazy.

And unfit.
